Honeybee hives multiply by swarming. Normally in early Spring, the hive will raise up a new queen. Meanwhile, the old queen will leave the hive along with about half of the worker bees. They find a temporary resting spot (generally in a tree or on a post) while they send out scouts to find a permanent home. While they are in this temporary resting spot, they are very docile. PLEASE DO NOT SPRAY THEM! At this point, we can help you! Call us at (412) 427-8865 and we will gather them and provide a new home for them in one of our apiaries.
Our team is ready to understand your needs and provide any information you might need. Please send us a message, and we will reply as soon as possible.
